Elisa lived in Puebla at the time of the colony.
One day she entered one of the many churches in Puebla and found a man unjustly accused by the Inquisition, who was hiding there.
They became friends and she brought him food every day.
But her father began to suspect and started following her.
One day, when she was about to enter the church, he stopped her and told her to show him what she was carrying in the basket.
Elisa, without hesitation, emptied the contents which at that moment turned into flowers.
From that moment everyone in Puebla began to talk about the miracle that had saved Elisa from a great punishment and she carried forever a diadem of natural flowers that never withered.
